IEBCA 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election for new board members
is taking place on Saturday, Nov. 18th.
Establish a Network of Engineers and Help Iranian Community: Being a board member provides the opportunity to plan and steer the organization's direction and events, and to connect with a wide range of professionals and industry leaders.
IEBCA would like to thank all its BOD members especially the ones that their two-year term has come to an end for their contributions and making 2016-2017 another successful year for the association.
IEBCA is encouraging all its eligible members to participate or nominate others for board election.
Nominations are accepted until November 14, 2017. Please note that nominations are NOT accepted during the AGM. Please send your nomination (including your brief CV and a cover letter outlining how you would like to contribute to IEBCA) to info@iebca.ca.
Board members will attend the board meetings (monthly) in Vancouver for planning and execution of the corporate activities. Overall, board members can expect to dedicate 5-10 hours a month. Five board members will be elected for 2017-2018 cycle to join the five existing recurred board members.

Experience: 20 years of experience in construction industry
During his work life, he has inspected hundreds of residential and commercial buildings. Also, he was involved in many multi-story steel, concrete, and wooden frame projects as well as interior finishing and millwork projects in different positions since 1998.

Shahryar Nouraei has been working for FortisBC Energy Inc. for the last 7 years. In his current role
as Special Assignment Manager, he provides guidance, oversight, and leadership along with technical direction to ensure alignment of business processes, systems technology, and corporate strategic initiatives.
Shahryar has over two decades of international professional experience, in the fields of quality management and business process improvement in service and manufacturing organizations. He is a member of Standard Council of Canada’s mirror committee ISO/TC 279 - Innovation Management System and holds a master’s degree in IT-Management and bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
